All participants (exhibitors, demonstrators, vendors, food vendors) agree to abide by these rules/guidelines when submitting the Envision Tucson Sustainable Festival registration form.
General Guidelines and Information:
An exhibitor is anyone exhibiting a display, distributing information, or collecting signatures
A demonstrator is anyone presenting a hands-on demonstration of a sustainability skill or action or of food preparation.
A vendor is an exhibitor selling a product.
Exhibitors, demonstrators, vendors, and food vendors will supply their own tables, chairs, display materials, and supplies.
As currently planned, all exhibitors, vendors, food vendors, and demonstrators will be outside in the Park, so plan on bringing a tent or canopy as needed. Any exceptions to this will be handled with individual participants.
Trash and recycle containers will be available throughout the venue, along with two composting stations. Please help keep your area clean.
Only limited electricity is available in the park. Exhibitors, demonstrators, or vendors who may need electricity should make prior arrangements with Festival organizers and must bring their own extension cords.
Water is available for exhibit areas from the restrooms and drinking fountains. No hose connections are permitted.
Exhibitor Rules:
Exhibits are expected to focus on the concept of living sustainably in all areas of life. We strongly suggest that each exhibit have a hands-on activity for all ages.
Decorations and displays must be fire-safe.
Exhibitors must stay within their assigned space. Spaces are approx. 10 feet x 10 feet.
Each booth must be staffed for the duration of the event.
Sound amplification at exhibitor booths will not be allowed, as it will interfere with other exhibitors and with demonstrators. Exhibitors should be prepared for live music (acoustic).
Please avoid any political activity not related to sustainability at exhibits.
Offensive or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Displays or signs negatively depicting other organizations or groups are inappropriate for this family event and are prohibited from the exhibit area.
Any group or individual in violation of these rules and guidelines will have their permission to participate revoked on the spot.
Exhibitor Spaces and Check-In:
Exhibitor check-in and setup time is 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. Setup must be complete by 10:30 a.m.
Directions for arrival/unloading and exhibitor/vendor parking will be sent closer to Festival time. Check in at the main Festival table, centrally located in front of the main west-side entrance to Armory Center. You will be given your exhibitor space at that time. Help will be available to quickly unload your vehicle. Then you should plan on moving your vehicle to on-street parking (leaving spaces close to the Park free for attendees).
